Cloth Diapers Make Me Happy!

I'm still working on what cloth things work best for my babe.  She's very sensitive to things that are not just substances but also textures and fabrics.  My neighbor found a pattern that she's been making a ton of and I thought I would try it.  I was so excited about the results.  Here's the link to the pattern.

not very often a snapshot of me looks cute! Love this one! I made this diaper today. It's 1 layer fleece (for water resistance) and 1 layer flannel to be against her skin. Stuffed with an infant prefold IT WORKED AWESOME!!!
front pinned
back is supposed to have elastic but I forgot so I left it out. fits good I just am not sure how well it'll keep in the p**ps :)...I guess we'll see!
The leg elastic was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I just had to be careful to do it right. It fits so snug w/o leaving any red marks!

She has a name...

If you have read any of my blog explanation up to today it has said "nick names" for all of us in the family except Gracie, the "as of yet unnamed animal."  Well, now that our baby Grace is 7 months old she finally has an animal name that fits and has stuck!
Lily, Grace (food face!) and Lina

Introducing Gracie Goose.  She loves to eat and will almost literally attack you if you're trying to feed her and not doing it fast enough.  She's generally pretty happy and smiles and laughs easily but also has sudden bursts of noisiness just to let us know she's still around.  We love our Gracie Goose and crazy Lily Monkey!
